Shri Bhimakali Temple in Sarahan, Himachal Pradesh is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of Goddess Shakti in India. It is believed that the ear of Goddess Sati fell at the place and hence holy places of cosmic and enormous power. The temple enshrines the Hindu Mother Goddess as Bhima Kali, the presiding deity of the rulers of former Bushahr State. The temple is about 180 km from Shimla in the picturesque village of Sarahan Bushahr.
Other temples in Bhima Kali Temple complex are Raghunath Ji Temple, Narsingh Ji Temple, Lankravir Temple, Hanuman Ji Temple and Ayodhya Nath Temple. From March to November light woollens during the day and a jacket for the early morning and evenings is suggested due to temperate climate.
Four Aartis are performed daily. The first aarti is at dawn around 6.00 AM in summers and 7.30 AM in winters. The second aarti is performed after two hours of the first.
The third aarti is at noon. Shyana Aarti or the fourth aarti is performed before the temple closing time.
Udyapan Jag is the main festival of Bhimakali Temple which is celebrated at intervals of a hundred years or more. Chaitra Navratras in April and Ashwin Navratras in October are celebrated for nine auspicious nights. Dussehra festival is organized during the Ashwin Navratras
Krishna Janamashtmi and Budhi Dewali are other important festivals associated with the temple.

How to reach
Sarahan Bhimakali Temple is 550 km from Delhi. Bus services are also available from Chandigarh, Shimla, Rampur and Jeori. Tourists can also hire jeeps and taxies which are available at Shimla and Rampur. Petrol pumps on the route are at Shimla, Theog, Narkanda, Rampur and Jeori.
Kalka Railway Station (Station Code: KLK) is the nearest railhead to reach the temple. Kalka narrow gauge line is the starting point of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kalka–Shimla Railway.
There is no direct flight to Sarahan and the nearest airport is at Shimla (198 km).
